I was very impressed how it takes the core concepts of many philosophies and distills them down to a very powerful and practical message: tuning into ones feelings and using clear intent about our wants and dreams empowers us to create the life we desire for ourselves. The book is written in a very personal and upbeat way that makes it a delight to read. The four agreements extol us to be impeccable with your word, don't take any thing personally, don't make assumptions, and always do your best. These simple precepts are keys for inner strength and for healing the self-limiting beliefs rob us of our joy and create needless suffering.
